ZPL to Easy Plug

Paste ZPL and get an Easy Plug job for Avery Dennison (AP, ALX) and Novexx printers (XLP, ALX, Chess). The label goes straight into the image buffer with #YIB, or run-length compressed with #YIR.

Send it to the printer

The file is a finished job: send it unchanged to TCP port 9100 of the printer - no driver needed. Replace the IP address with your printer's.

Linux / macOS

nc -q 1 192.168.1.50 9100 < label.ezp

Windows PowerShell

$c = [Net.Sockets.TcpClient]::new('192.168.1.50', 9100)
$b = [IO.File]::ReadAllBytes("$PWD\label.ezp")
$c.GetStream().Write($b, 0, $b.Length); $c.Close()

With the zplCloud CLI the job goes out byte-exact over TCP or USB, through a watch folder or through the agent to a printer in another network - the CLI can also convert ZPL itself with --language.

zplCloud CLI

zplcloud send --target 192.168.1.50 --file label.ezp
zplcloud send --usb --file label.ezp
zplcloud send --remote-printer 4 --file label.zpl --language easyplug
